Dear Henry and Hannah: Letters to My Loved-Ones in the 22nd Century

Dear Henry and Hannah is a writing series in which Patrene Dawkins (Queen Patrene) writes letters to her loved ones in the 22nd century. None of us knows whether the 22nd century will come to fruition, but if it does, I want Henry and Hannah (my fourth-generation descendants) to know the world through my eyes as I live in the 21st century.

My foreparents probably thought that it was unlikely that I, their descendant, would exist in the present 21st century. But by God’s grace, here I am, a writer who can preserve history for those who will come after me.

Barring none, writing has and will remain the most essential way to document history. Since I love writing, history, philosophy, etc., realizing that I am living in a time when history is being made, I wanted to contribute to the pages that will one day be a curation of a distant era. Please feel free to take a look at a few of my letters to my loved ones that I have made available to the public.
